Grandma Maggie didn’t really joke around a lot. She was very even tempered. She was methodical about her tasks, but at the same time took things in stride.

I did not inherit her green thumb, but I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I attribute this quality in large part to growing up with her as an active part of my life.
