I know you likely wouldn’t think of Wichita, Kansas as a great spot for a film festival but seriously, Tallgrass Film Festival is the real deal. The festival organizers treat the filmmakers like royalty, tons of activities for filmmakers and fans, great parties, multiple screening venues in a central location.
