I very much enjoyed reading your story as I sit quietly in my living room.

We have several friends who are talkers. I’m always amazed at how much they have to say without really saying much. I hadn’t considered that they may be afraid of silence. I suppose some may feel vulnerable in silence. Not me. I feel a sense of comfort in quiet peacefulness. I’m usually the mysterious listener of the group. I wonder if any of my friends think I might be in the CIA. :-)
