Outside of my husband and parents I have one human BFF. Quite honestly that’s all I need to be happy. I have other friendly acquaintances thru work and community. I don’t feel sad about that. There’s some comfort in knowing that no matter where I am, I can make a new friend even if it’s not for forever.

By the way, Beau is a great name for a dog!
