Accounting wasn’t that bad. A lot of times the practical application of accounting was like putting together pieces of a puzzle and I like puzzles. The real life situations were a lot more interesting and puzzling than text book stuff. The advancements of technology made it more challenging over the years as well. It wasn’t just about accounting theory anymore. You had to determine how to make the accounting theories work within parameters of software.
